We, at Rope Break, are here to rank the top 10 superstars from this week’s RAW and SmackDown Live. The superstars are ranked based on various aspects including victories, promos, and angles. Saying that, let’s dive into this week’s Power 10. This week we had the 2019 WWE superstar shakeup where we gained some NXT talent and the superstars of Raw and Smackdown swapped all over the place!

The Power 10

10)  Kofi Kingston

Despite many rumours of Kingston himself potentially moving to Monday Night Raw or perhaps The New Day being split between shows, all was well in the camp of the new WWE Champion. With Big E out with an unfortunate injury, Kevin Owens has become the temporary “big guy” in The New Day and whilst this pairing is very enjoyable to watch, Kofi may need to keep eyes in the back of his head on KO if he hopes to remain WWE Champion…

9)   Sami Zayn

How do you solidify yourself as the ultimate asshole? Turn on your own damn country. In front of a Montreal crowd that were VOCAL in their love for hometown boy Sami Zayn, the former NXT Champion absolutely ripped them to shreds in his appearance on “A Moment Of Bliss”. The future is looking bright for Zayn on a brand that desperately needs legitimate heels!

8)   Kairi Sane

As sad as it is knowing The Sky Pirates will no longer be sailing around NXT’s women’s division, the introduction of Kairi Sane to the Smackdown’s Womens division is certainly an exciting one. Sane made a big splash in her newly formed team with Asuka, picking up a big win over current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics!

7)   Andrade

Finally things may be looking up for this former NXT Champion as he picked up a HUGE win over the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor on his new home of Monday Night Raw! Andrade struggled to find a spot on the Smackdown roster but with this move to Raw we may finally get a real look at what this talented superstar is truly capable of.

6)   Becky Lynch

With both brands swimming with new potential rivalries, nobody is taking centre stage more than “The Man”. With Lacey Evans becoming the number 1 contender to the Raw Women’s Championship and a whole new gang of women dying for a shot at the Smackdown Women’s Championship, a summer of fresh feuds seems to be in Becky Lynch’s future!

5)   AJ Styles

And just like that a career is rejuvenated in one evening. AJ Styles on Smackdown was steadily becoming the most boring performer on television following a seemingly never ending WWE Championship reign. A move to the red brand is exactly what the phenomenal one needs and in the absence of a certain “Big Dog”, expect Styles to rise through the ranks and potentially set up a dream match against current Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

4)   The Miz

Who would have ever believed that The Miz could be such a compelling babyface character. After years of being one of the best heels in the company, The Miz has once again traded brands in the Superstar Shakeup (the only superstar to do this at every shakeup), and somehow managed to make people care about a heel Shane Mcmahon!

3)   Lars Sullivan

“The Freak” has finally staked his pole in WWE’s main roster. After appearing on both Raw and Smackdown last week, murdering WWE’s most beloved legends, Lars Sullivan is officially a member of the Raw roster. Whilst Sullivan is far from the best techinal wrestler on the brand, he is a legit looking monster who has made a big impact in a matter of weeks and a potential Braun Strowman feud down the line could send this man to the stars!

2)   Lacey Evans

What an impressive start for a woman who 2 weeks ago was nothing more than a break between segments on TV and PPV’s. Lacey Evan’s has managed to break out and make a name for herself as the newest addition to the Raw roster with some pretty solid promos and a strong showing against Natalya to become the number 1 contender to Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship. This is the perfect debut feud for Evans as The Lady squares off against The Man!

1)   Roman Reigns

5 words alone establish Roman Reigns as the clear number 1 on this weeks Power 10 list; “Smackdown Live is my yard now”. One Superman punch to the fucking chairman of the company and a strong statement to follow has instantly set up Roman Reigns as not only the biggest star of the superstar shakeup but also the face of Smackdown Live. Reigns is the biggest star in the business and i fully expect him to takeover Smackdown live like only he can!

That is it for this week’s WWE Power 10. Tune in next week to see who makes the list!
